Guilin Two Days Family Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Dongxi Lane Pedestrian Street.  
• 
  Arrive in Guilin. Be picked up from the exit of Guilin Liangjiang airport or train station.
  Drive to Reed Flute Cave. Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave known as "the Palace of Natural Arts". It is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition.
• Proceed to the symbol of Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill. The shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk. Between the trunk and the legs is Water-Moon Cave. There are more than 50 inscriptions on the wall of the cave.
  Head to Dongxi Lane Pedestrian Street. Dongxi Lane is a cultural pedestrian street with architectures of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasty styles, with a history of over 1400 years. Discover the local buildings, restaurants, teahouses and local snacks on this street.
  Be transferred to the hotel in downtown Guilin after the tour.

• Day 2. Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, West Street, Departure.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel at around 07:30am to 08:10am and transferred to cruise port.
  Take Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo (around 4.5 hours, lunch on ship). Li River is famous for the Karst mountains and stunning river views. Taking a cruise over the river, you will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.
• Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon and visit West Street. With a history of more than 1,400 years, West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo. There are many bars, restaurants, Internet cafes, hotels, snack counters, souvenir booths, and art crafts stores on the street, some of them were opened by foreigners who have settled here.
  Afterwards, be transferred to airport or train station in Guilin for departure.
