Detailed Itinerary

• Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road, the Bund  
• 
  You will meet your guide at hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Firstly visit a Chinese classic garden with Jiangnan style, Yu Garden. With a history of over 400 years, the garden features ancient architectures, exquisite sculptures, rockeries and carvings.
  Then visit Jade Buddha Temple. The temple houses a number of ancient sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures. The most precious are two jade statues of the Sakyamuni Buddha.
• After lunch, proceed to Shanghai Museum. Known as the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art, the museum is famous for its large collection of rare cultural pieces.
  Go to Nanjing Road, the most famous commercial area in Shanghai. There are many large commercial buildings, traditional old stores and latest fashion stores on the road.
  Go on visiting the Bund. Called "Waitan" in Chinese, the Bund is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. The most famous and attractive sights are the 52 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
  You will be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.
