  • Day 1. Entry Shanghai, the Bund, Shanghai Old Street, Shanghai Museum, 1933 Old Millfun.  
  • Day 2. Yu Garden, Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl Tower, People's Square, Nanjing Road, Departure.  

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1. Entry Shanghai, the Bund, Shanghai Old Street, Shanghai Museum, 1933 Old Millfun.  

  • Arrive in Shanghai. Be met by English speaking tour guide and driver from Beijingservice.com.
    Drive to visit the Bund, which is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. The most famous and attractive sights are the 52 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
    Then visit Shanghai Old Street. The street is filled with architectures of Ming and Qing style. Travelers may get a feeling of getting back to 1930's. Local stores and other small art shop stands along the street.
  • Proceed to Shanghai Museum. The museum has large number of collections of ancient Chinese artistic relics. It covers eleven galleries in a 4 floor buildings.
    Go on visiting 1933 Old Millfun. Designed by a British architect in 1933, the building is a unique masterpiece of architecture and different from any buildings and got its own style. It is quite like a castle or a maze.
    Be transferred to hotel for check in after the tour.

  • Day 2. Yu Garden, Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl Tower, People's Square, Nanjing Road, Departure.  

  • Be met by guide and driver at hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
    Drive to visit Yu Garden. It is one of the best gardens in southern China. With pavilions, halls, chambers, towers, ponds and rockeries, it presents more than 40 scenic spots.
    Then visit Pudong New Area. The area is the epitome of Shanghai's modernization. It arose in 1990 from China's policy of reform and opening-up and has become the ideal destination for global investors and innovators.
    Proceed to Oriental Pearl Tower. The tower is the world’s third and Asia’s tallest TV and radio tower when it was completed in 1995. It is the most recognizable landmark of Shanghai City.
  • Go on visiting People's Square. Known as the "green lung of the city", the square is a garden-style square integrating politics, culture, transportation, and commerce.
    Afterwards, visit Nanjing Road, one of the most famous and bustling streets in the world. It is the window for Shanghai to open to the world and also shopping paradise for people at home and abroad.
    Be transferred to airport or train station for departure.
