Be picked up by English speaking tour guide from your hotel at 9:30 or 13:30 in the morning.
Firstly visit Jade Buddha Temple. The temple was first built in 1882 to house the two jade Buddha statues carved with whole white jade which had been brought from Burma. A number of ancient sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures are housed in it.
Then visit Shanghai Museum. The museum is a large museum of Chinese ancient art and history. You can find more than 120,000 precious and rare works of art in 12 categories, including ancient bronze, ancient ceramics, paintings, calligraphy, ancient sculpture, ancient jade, coins, Ming and Qing furniture, seals, and minority nationalities.
