  • Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking guide of Beijingservice at 08:30am or 1:30pm.

    Drive to visit the Temple of Potaraka Doctrine. Built in 1767 for the birthday of Emperor Qianling of Qing Dynasty, Temple of Potaraka Doctrine is the largest temple of the Eight Outer Temples in Chengde. The temple was modeled after the Potala Palace in Tibet, so also called “Little Potala Palace”.

    Move on to the Temple of Universal Peace. Combining the Han and Tibetan architectural styles, Temple of Universal Peace covers an area of 23,000 square meters. The temple houses the tallest wooden sculpture of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara in the world.
