Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Reach Beijing.   
• Beijing Airport >30 km > Hotel in downtown Beijing.
• 
  Arrive at Beijing airport or train station. Be met by private vehicle and tour guide from Beijingservice team. Be transferred to hotel for checking in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
• Note
  • Please provide your arrival flight information before tour date.

• Day 2. Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, outside view of Bird Nest.  
• Hotel >5 km> Tiananmen >0.5km> Forbidden City >26km> Summer Palace >15km> Bird Nest >16km> Hotel.
• 
  English speaking tour guide meet you from hotel lobby at 08:30 am.
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square - The biggest downtown Square of the world. Take a stroll in the square for about 20 minutes. From the north end of the square, we will enter the famous Palace Museum. Also known as Forbidden City, Palace Museum is was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. We will discover six main buildings and an imperial garden in Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 1.5 to 2 hours.
• After a nice lunch in local restaurant, we will drive 40 minutes to Summer Palace - 26 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole garden covers an area of over 290 hectares includs more than 3000 buildings. Take sightseeing in this charming garden for one hour and twenty minutes.
  At the end of the day, we will drive to take outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. As the major venue of the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), National Swimming Center (Water Cube) becomes a landmark of new Beijing.

  • We can book entry tickets of Forbidden City for our travelers in advance, which saves time of waiting in line. Please send us scanned passport on booking the trip.
  • The admission fee of Bird Nest or Water Cube is not included; and the outside view is better than inside view.

• Day 3. Beijing: Ming Tombs, Lunch, Badaling Great Wall  
• Hotel >60km> Ming Tomb >10km> restaurant >30km> Great Wall of Badaling Section >75km> Hotel.
• 
  Be met by tour guide from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive 1.5 hours to the final resting place of Ming Dynasty emperor, we will discover the largest Ming Tomb - Changling Tomb. The main hall of Changling is the largest structure of nanmu wood in China.
• Have lunch in a town on the way to Great Wall.
  After Lunch, we will drive 40 minutes to famous Great Wall, which was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders.
  Badaling was built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty. This section of the Great Wall is the best preserved part near Beijing, with a length of 7600 meters. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours.
  Drive back to hotel after the whole day tour.

  • Cable car is available at Badaling Great Wall, which is helpful for elders or kids.

• Day 4. Beijing: Hutong, Temple of Heaven. Transfer to Beijing airport.  Reach Xian, be met and transfer to hotel in downtown Xian.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 am.
  Drive to visit Beijing Hutong - lanes formed by lines of local courtyard. Most of the Hutongs were built during the Yuan (1206-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. The unique experience of Man-power rickshaw is arranged.
  Proceed to visit Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420 during Ming Dynasty, Temple of Heaven is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.Visit Temple of Heaven for about 1 hour.
• After lunch in a nice local restaurant, you will be transferred to airport to connect direct flight to Xian.
  After reaching Xian airport, you will be met from waiting hall of Xian Xianyang International Airport and be transferred to the hotel in downtown Xian.

• Day 5.Xian: Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Pool, Steles Forest, Tang Dynasty Show  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
  Drive 50km to visit the famous Terracotta Warriors & Horses -the Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC.
  
• Then we will drive back to appreciate the imperial garden and hot-spring of Tang Dynasty- Huaqing Pool. This is a palace since the Tang Dynasty, the resort place of many emperors in ancient China.
  Move on to visit Steles Forest - a classical courtyard styled structure with the oldest and richest collection of from ancient China. This is also one of the best place to enjoy Chinese handwriting.
  
• This evening, we will taste Chinese Dumpling as dinner and enjoy Tang Dynasty style performace.
  Dumpling is the traditional food for Chinese New Year, which is a must taste food in China.
  Tang Dynasty Show was originated from the Tang dynasty over a thousand years ago. The musicians present the music with the Tang-dynasty-style musical instruments. You will enjoy a national art partially reflects the glory and richness of the Tang era.
  Return to hotel at around 21:00.

• Day 6. Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Great Mosque, Shaanxi History Museum, City Wall,   
• 
  Be met from your hotel lobby at 08:30 am after breakfast.
  
  Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Being one of the landmarks of Xian, the pagoda was originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang.
  
  Drive to visit the Great Mosque - the largest and best-preserved mosques of China. With the full name Huajuexiang Great Mosque, it was built in a style of Chinese courtyard with strong traditional Chinese architectural features.
  
  
• Have Chinese lunch in a nice local restaurant.
  
  Visit Shaanxi History Museum - a magnificent architectural complex in traditional Chinese style. It is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China, houses over 300,000 Chinese culture related items.
  
  Then we will drive to discover Xian Ancient City Wall - the oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China. The wall has a history over 600 years. Bike and battery car are available to be rent on the wall.
  
  Be transferred back to hotel after the sightseeing.

• Day 7. Xian-Xian Airport. Fly to Guilin,   Guilin airport-Guilin, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Seven Star Park  
• 
  Be met from hotel and transfer to Xian airport to connect flight to Guilin.
  Arrive at Guilin Airport, be met by and transferred to downtown Guilin.
• We will first visit Reed Flute Cave. Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts", the famous cave presents amazing stalactites and stalagmites to travelers.
  Then we will visit Elephant Trunk Hill. Being the symbol of Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill is located on the western bank of Li River, looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk in water.
  Visit Seven Star Park - the biggest comprehensive park in Guilin.
  Be transferred to hotel.

• Day 8. Guilin: Li River Cruise, YangShuo, Guilin  
• 
  Be met from hotel in downtown Guilin and transferred to cruise port.
  Enjoy the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo with lunch onboard. Picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms, villages with water buffaloes makes the cruising very pleasant.
• Disembark at YangShuo in the afternoon. Being a one-thousand-year-old town, Yangshuo is also a lovely and relaxing town. Enjoy your leisure time in Yangshuo before being transferred back to Guilin by private vehicle.

  • The pick up time of today will be informed by local tour guide one day in advance.
  • The cruising time on Li River is around 3.5 to 4.5 hours subject to change based on weather and river condition.

• Day 9. Guilin fly to Shanghai.   Guilin-Shanghai,  Yu Garden, Yu Market  
• 
  Be met from Guilin hotel and transferred to airport for flight to Shanghai.
• Arrive in Shanghai. Be met and transferred to downtown Shanghai to visit Yu Garden - one of the best Suzhou-style gardens in Shanghai.
  Then we will discover Yu Market to feel the prosperous local market.
  Be transferred to hotel, remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 10. Shanghai : Jade Buddha Temple, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Bund, Huangpu River Cruise, Acrobatic Show.  
• 
  Start the tour from your hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Dive to visit Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882, Jade Buddha Temple has 2 jade statues of the Sakyamuni Buddha. The seated Buddha is 1.9 meters tall carved out of a single piece of white jade. The temple also houses a number of ancient sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures.
  Then we will visit Nanjing Road. Being regarded as the first business street in China, Nanjing Road is one of the most famous and bustling business streets in China.
  
• After lunch, we will drive to pudong area to visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower - the previous third tallest TV and radio tower in the world. The second ball on the tower is the best place to take a bird view of Shanghai.
  Move on to visit the Bund. Also called Zhongshan Road, The Bund, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of old Shanghai. Various buildings of different architectural styles standards at the west side of the Bund.
  Then we will take a short Cruising on Huangpu River to enjoy the scenery on both sides of the bank.
  
• At the end of the day, we will drive to local theater to enjoy amazing Acrobatic Show to complete the pleasant trip.
  Return to hotel at around 21:00.

  Be met from your hotel and transferred to the airport to connect homeward flight.
