Beijing Scenery One Day Tour of Fragrant Hill

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.

Drive to visit Fragrant Hill Park. Fragrant Hill Park was first built in 1186 and served as the emperor's traveling lodge for a long time. The park boasts beautiful landscape throughout the whole year. And the most enchanting sight is when smoke tree leaves turning red.

Then visit Biyun Temple. Biyun Temple is located on north of the Fragrant Hills Park. First built in 1331, Biyun Temple is a compact and well-preserved garden style temple. In accordance with the mountain, the whole temple includes separately closed courtyards. The double stone lion in front of the mountain gate, the clay painted sculptures in the palace and the murals in Maitreya palace are all art treasures.

Move on to visit Beijing Botanical Garden. Established in 1955, Beijing Botanical Garden covers an area of 564,000 square meters. The garden cultivates 6,000 species of plant, including 2,000 kinds of trees and bushes, 1,620 varieties of tropical and subtropical plants, 500 species of flowers and 1,900 kinds of fruit trees, water plants. Meanwhile, there are several Buddhist temples scattered in the botanical garden.

Then visit a Fortress was used for military parade in Qianglong period. It is large and full of historical feelings.

Visit Dazhong Temple. Dazhong Temple was built in 1733. Dazhong means big bell in Chinese. The temple got this name for it treasures up a huge bell made in Ming dynasty. The ancient bell in the Ancient bell Museum of the temple is worth to visit.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
