Itinerary


Day 1. Mutianyu Great Wall + Huaibei Ski Resort

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am. Drive one and half hours to the famous Mutianyu Great Wall.

Mutianyu Great WallThe Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers. see Mutianyu Great Wall map.

Mutianyu was first built in the mid-6th century. It is the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 22 original style watchtowers. Mutianyu Great Wall features picturesque landscape with 90% forest coverage rate. The scenery in spring and autumn is excellent. Mutianyu Great Wall is not so crowded as Badaling section. Cable car is optional to get the top to have a bird view.

Huaibei Ski ResortThen we will drive to the Huaibei Ski Resort. Located in Jiugukou Natural Scenic Spot in Huairou District, which is the Back Garden of Beijing, Huaibei Ski Resort is surrounded by the Great Wall on the three sides. covering an area of 9.6 square kilometers, the resort was first built in 2000 by Sino-Hong Kong joint venture. With optimal service quality, the most complete facilities and the best snow, Huaibei Ski Resort is the biggest outdoor sports base and car camp in Beijing.

Day 2.  Half day ski + Private Museum + Olympic Park

Bird's NestEnjoy the ski in the morning.

Then drive to visit the first private museum in China, which mainly show you Chinese ancient furniture and porcelain of Ming and Qing Dynasty.There are totally five halls in the museum, including Ceramics Hall, Furniture Hall, Doors and window frames Hall, Oil Painting Hall and Handicraft Hall. Wile visiting the museum, you will touch the culture of Chinese folk and daily living.

Move on to visit Olympic Park. As the major venue of the 2008 Olympic Games, the Olympic Park contains three areas including the Forest Park in the north, major venue and supporting facilities area in the center Water Cubeand the completed stadiums and the reserved area. The completed stadiums contains the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), National Swimming Center (Water Cube) and the National Indoor Stadium (Folding Fans). Have an outside view of the venues.

Be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
