Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Wangfujing Street.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Firstly head to Tiananmen Square. This world's largest public square is the political center of China. The square is surrounded by many well-known cultural and political buildings.
  Proceed to Forbidden City, the largest palace complex in the world. Forbidden City was the home of emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912). It consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, total 980 buildings.
• After lunch, move on to Summer Palace. First built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty as a summer resort, Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden in the world and has been listed in the World Heritage Sites.
  Then visit Wangfujing Street. Wangfujing Street is the most famous and busiest commercial area with shopping malls, bookstores, souvenir shops, and the snack stores. Many time-honored stores can be found in the street.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after dinner.

• Day 2. Badaling Great Wall, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube, Xiushui Market.

  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Visit Badaling Great Wall at first. Badaling is the outstanding representative of the Great Wall of China. It was the important pass for protecting Beijing City in ancient time and enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad.
• Move on to Olympic Park to take an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, Bird Nest is the largest steel structural stadium and the Water Cube is largest membrane structure stadium in the world.
  Proceed to Xiushui Market, a well-known market located closed to embassy area. The main products covers clothing, carpets, bedding, suitcases, hats, leather shoes, electronics, watches, glasses, jewelry, crafts and toys.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after dinner.
