Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Beijing Arrival.  
• 
  Arrive in Beijing. You will be met by our guide at the exit and transferred to hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure on your own.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  After breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive to the largest city plaza in the world. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China and is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong.
  Go on visiting Forbidden City on the north end of the Tiananmen Square. The palace was the exclusive domain of the imperial court for almost 500 years, 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty.
  Have lunch on a local restaurant.
• Proceed to Temple of Heaven, the temple in honor of Heavens. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
  Then visit largest royal garden in China, Summer Palace. It perfectly combines the natural landscape and elegant architectures.
  Be sent back to the hotel after the tour at about 17:30.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Mutianyu Great Wall.   
• 
  After breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive about 1.5 hours to Ming Tombs. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the Ming Tombs features splendid landscape. We will visit the largest tomb, Changling. It was built by the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty in 1409 AD.
• Visit Mutianyu Great Wall in the afternoon. It is the longest fully-restored and one of the best-known sections of great wall. Mutianyu has picturesque landscape and fewer travelers.
  Be sent back to the hotel after the tour at about 17:30.

• Day 4. Beijing Zoo, Hutong, Lama Temple, Bird Nest and Water Cube.  
• 
  After breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive to Beijing Zoo to see lovely giant pandas. The zoo is the biggest zoo in China with the largest number of animal species.
  proceed to Beijing Hutong in Shishahai area. You will discover the traditional Siheyuan houses and old lanes by rickshaw.
  Have lunch on a local restaurant.
• Go on to visit Lama Temple, the largest Tibetan monastery in Beijing. It was once the royal court of the Emperor Yongzheng when he was a prince.
  Then go to Olympic Park and have an outside view of the Bird Nest and Water Cube. They are the landmark buildings of the 2008 Olympic Games.
  Be sent back to the hotel after the tour at about 17:30.

• Day 5. Xiushui Market, Hongqiao Market(Pearl Market), Beijing Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatic Show.  
• 
  After breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30am. Today is a leisure day for shopping and dining.
  We will go to Xiushui Market(also called Silk Market). Except silk and fashion clothes, various kinds of items can be bought here.
• Proceed to Hongqiao Market(Pearl Market) in the afternoon. This market offers the famous pearls, clothes, bags, shoes, binoculars, cameras, coral, electronics, etc.
• We will taste Beijing Roast Duck and enjoy Chinese Acrobatic Show in the evening. Beijing Roast Duck is delicious food with Beijing local flavor. Acrobatic Show is one of the most popular art forms in China.
  Be sent back to the hotel after the Acrobatic Show.
•   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Day 6. Beijing Departure.  
• 
  You will be met by our guide at hotel lobby and transferred to airport for departure.
