Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Beijing Arrival, Summer Palace.  
• 
  
• Reach Beijing airport or railway station. Your private guide will wait at the exit and escort you to hotel for check in.
  Then head to Summer Palace if time permits. Featured with the natural landscape and ancient structures, Summer Palace is the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China.
  Transfer you back to the hotel.

• Day 2. Food Factory, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City.  
• 
  You guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 08:30am and escort you to a Food Factory. This bread factory has a history of over 100 years. You will have chance to make bread by yourselves.
• After lunch, proceed to Tiananmen Square. This largest city plaza in the world is the political center of China. It has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
  Enter Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1368-1912). It is the largest and best-preserved collection of ancient wooden structure buildings in the world.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Enamel Factory, Badaling Great Wall.   
• 
  You guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Head to an Enamel Factory. This factory is an old and famous Chinese enterprises producing cloisonne. You will visit the workshop, Cloisonne art museum and exhibition hall.
• Visit Badaling Great Wall in the afternoon. Built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty, Badaling is the best preserved and most popular section of the Great Wall. Many leaders from all over the world have visited it.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 4. Musical instrument Factory, Temple of Heaven, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.

  You guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Visit a Musical instrument Factory on the morning. You will have an understanding of Chinese ancient musical instrument.
• After lunch, head to Temple of Heaven. This temple was the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912) came to pay homage to Heaven and pray for good harvest. Featuring precise structure and magnificent decoration, it is the largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
  Then proceed to take an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. These two main venues for the Beijing Olympics of 2008 are the engineering marvels in the world.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 5. Beijing Hutong, Departure.  
• 
  You guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Visit Beijing Hutong if time permits. Take a rickshaw to explore the past Beijing. The traditional courtyard compounds and narrow lanes reflect the culture and daily life of the old Beijingers.
  Afterwards, transfer you to the airport or railway station for departure.
