Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Be met from airport, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace. Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatic Show.  
• 
  Upon arriving in Beijing, you will be picked up from exit of the airport by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide.
  Drive to Tiananmen Square to see this largest downtown square in the world. It is surrounded by many well-known cultural and political buildings.
  Proceed to Forbidden City. As the largest imperial palace complex in the world, Forbidden City was once the home of 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties(1420-1912). It is the essence of traditional Chinese architecture.
• After lunch, go on visiting Temple of Heaven. It was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty and served as the holy place for emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties to pay homage to Heaven and pray for good harvest. The temple is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
  Head to Summer Palace. It is the largest imperial garden of China and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998. It mainly consists of Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill. There are more than 100 ancient structures in the Summer Palace.
• Afterwards, go to restaurant to have Roast Duck.
  Then enjoy Chinese Acrobatic Show. It is one of the most popular art forms in China. With outstanding feats, gorgeous choreographer and color, you will be amazed by the performers' ability of retaining balance in motion.
  Be transferred back to your hotel after the show.

• Day 2. Badaling Great Wall, transfer to airport.

  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:00am.
  Drive to visit Badaling Great Wall. As one of the seven wonders in the world, Great Wall of China is listed as World Cultural Heritage Site by UESCO in 1987. Badaling is the best preserved and most popular section. It enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. Cable car is available and optional.
• Then be transferred to airport to meet your flight.
