Drive to Suzhou to visit Lion Grove Garden. Lion Grove Garden is one of the four most famous and representative gardens of ancient classical style in Suzhou City. Built in the Yuan Dynasty, the garden is famous for its rockeries. In the courtyard you can see several piles of Taihu rocks shaped like lions, frogs, crabs or oxen. The ornamental pavilions and towers in different styles are also worth to visit.

Then visit Suzhou Museum. The museum has more than 40,000 pieces in its collections, mainly are unearthed relics, paintings and calligraphy of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and ancient crafts. The Prince Zhong's Mansion in the museum is the best–preserved historical building during the period of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (1851-1864). The building is decorated with colorful carvings and paintings.

After lunch, drive to the water town Zhouzhuang including ancient town and old waterways. Zhouzhuang lies at the middle between Shanghai and Suzhou, So it is thought by many to be the best waterside town in China. This ancient town has a history of more than 900 years old with many houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are about 100 houses with courtyards, and 60 of them have arch gateways made by carved bricks.
