Detailed Itinerary
- Ancient City Wall, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Great Mosque, Bell and Drum Tower Square.
You will meet our guide at the hotel lobby at 08:30am.
Drive to visit Ancient City Wall. Constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) for military defense, Ancient City Wall is one of the most important landmarks of Xian city. It is the oldest, largest and best preserved city wall in China.
Go on visiting a comprehensive historical museum, Shaanxi History Museum. The museum is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China.- After lunch, proceed to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was built in 652 of Tang Dynasty to house the Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang.
Then visit Great Mosque. Built in 742 AD during the Tang Dynasty, the Great Mosque is one of the oldest and best-preserved mosques in China.
Afterwards, take a leisure walking on the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square to enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient city in modern time.
