Detailed Itinerary

• Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Beijing Opera  
• 
  Pick up you from downtown hotel at appointed time(between 7:00am and 7:30am).
  
  Drive to start the tour at northern part of Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the largest downtown square in the world. It is the place where many political and historical events took place. It is available to have a view of all constructions in Tiananmen Square from distance, including the National Flag Pole, the Monument to the People's Hero, the Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, the Great Hall of People and the National Museum.
  
  Proceed to discover the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with about 600 years history in the world. It was the home of emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The visiting time is about 2 hours.
  
  After a short visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture, we will head to Temple of Heaven. Temple of Heaven is the largest sacrificial building complex in the world featuring precise structure and magnificent decoration.
  
• After lunch, have a short visit to a pearl market. You may find various kind of necklace, bracelet, earring as well as other pearl products.
  
  Then visit Summer Palace about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Summer Palace was the summer resort for the emperors of Qing Dynasty(1644-1911). Featured with the natural landscape and ancient structures, it is the largest imperial garden of China.
  
  Transfer you back to the hotel. You can have your dinner before night show.
  
• English speaking guide will pick you up from hotel at about 18:00.
  Drive to Liyuan Theatre to enjoy Beijing Opera from 19:30 to 20:50. It presents an encyclopedia of Chinese culture as well as unfolding stories, beautiful paintings, exquisite costumes and graceful gestures.
  
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the show at about 21:20.
