Detailed Itinerary

• Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace  
• 
  You will be picked up from your hotel at appointed time in the morning.
  
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square, the symbol of new China. It is the largest downtown square in the world. You could see two pairs of 600 years old stone lions, the ornamental columns, the outer golden water bridge and so on.
  
  From the north end of Tiananmen Square, you will enter Forbidden City. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
  
  Then visit a Chinese medicine shop and learn about Chinese traditional medicine culture.
  Go on visiting Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The visiting time of Temple of Heaven is about 1 hour.
  
• Have a Chinese lunch in restaurant and enjoy a short visit to a pearl market.
  Afterwards, drive about 30 minutes to Summer Palace. Summer Palace is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. Visit the royal garden about one hour and 20 minutes.
  
  You will be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.
