Detailed Itinerary
- Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tombs
Pick you up from your hotel between 7:00am and 7:30am in the morning.
Drive to the Ming Tomb, the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. Visit Dingling Tomb and its Underground Palace. It is the only one of the Ming Tombs excavated so far. Sightseeing for one hour.
Then have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. An open workshop is available to demonstrate Jade carving, which enable you to get some knowledge of Chinese jade carving processes. Visit time is around 45 minutes.
Have traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant.- Proceed to Badaling Great Wall. Built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty, Badaling is the best preserved and most popular section of the Great Wall. The highest point is 800 meters above sea level. Hike Badaling Great Wall for two hours. Cable car is available and optional.
On the way back to hotels, you will have a chance to enjoy Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony.
