Detail Itinerary
Day 1. Entry Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer you to hotel. Remainder of day is at leisure.


Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Beijing Opera
English speaking tour guide and private vehicle will pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
Drive to the famous Tiananmen Square - The biggest downtown Square of the world. Stroll around the square. From the north end of Tiananmen Square, we will enter the Forbidden City -also called Palace Museum, is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 1.5 to 2 hours. Drive to Summer palace - 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Be transferred to theatre to enjoy Beijing opera in theatre. Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the performance. (B, L, D)

Day 3. Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Sacred Way，Beijing Roast Duck
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive one and half-hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall -the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours. Drive 20minutes to Ming Tombs. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427. Visit the tomb for one hour. Move on to visit the sacred way for half an hour.
Be transferred to enjoy Beijing Roast Duck Dinner. Beijing Roast Duck is delicious food with Beijing local flavor. Eating Peking duck is seen to be one of the two things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing.
Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 4. Beijing Hutong Tour, Lama Temple, Confucius Temple, Temple of Heaven
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Beijing Hutong including Local family, Drum tower, Shicha Lake (also called Houhai Lake) and bar street. Proceed to Lama Temple -a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism, is the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Lama Temple is a former imperial palace in Qing dynasty. Take a visit to Confucius Temple -the present site of the Capital Museum. It is here that Confucius was worshipped during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties (1271-1911). Drive to the Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.

Day 5. Beijing -Lhasa, Nietang Buddha
Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Lhasa.
Arriving in Lhasa, be met by tour guide and private vehicle in airport. Visit the Nietang Buddha on the way from airport to your hotel. Check in Hotel.
Remainder of the days is at leisure. (B,D)



Day 6. Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka Park and a typical Tibetan Family
Be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 am.
Visit the Potala Palace. Originally built in the seventh century, Potala Palace is landmark of Lhasa. It is famous for its grand buildings, complicated constructions, devotional atmosphere and splendid artworks. Then we will visit the Sera Monastery - one of the three largest monasteries of Gelugpa. Completed in 1419, the collection of murals is maintained in perfect, original condition. Move on to visit the Norbulingka Park. Built in the 1740s, Norbulingka Park was Dalai Lama's summer palace. Visit a Tibetan family to get some information of Tibetan's life and local custom. Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 7. Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, the Barkhor Street, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital, the local Carpet Factory
Be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 am.
Visit the Drepung Monastery - known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. Established in 1416, Drepung Monastery houses many cultural relics, which make it more superb. Then we will visit the Jokhang Temple -the holiest site in Tibet and is the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists. Move on to visit the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street - Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts assemble and a place to which a visit must be paid. Visit the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the local Carpet Factory.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour. (B, L, D)

Day 8. Tibet Museum, Lhasa - Xian
Be picked up from your hotel. Visit the Tibet Museum. Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Xian.
Arrive in Xian. Be met and transferred to your hotel.（B）

Day 9. Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Spring, Forest of Stone Steles Museum, Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Show
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses -the Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Move on to appreciate the imperial garden of Tang Dynasty- Huaqing Hot Spring - a palace since the Tang Dynasty, the resort place of many emperors in ancient. Visit the Forest of Stone Steles Museum -a classical courtyard styled structure with the oldest and richest collection of steles in China.
Taste local Dumpling Banquet -traditional food for Chinese New Year. It is a must taste food in China. Enjoy Tang Dynasty Show -performance of Chang'an music and dances that was originated in the Tang dynasty over a thousand years ago. The musicians present the music with the Tang-dynasty-style musical instruments. You will enjoy a national art that reflects the glory and richness of the Tang Dynasty era. Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 10. Banpo Neolithic Village, Great Mosque, City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit the Banpo Neolithic Village -a stable village was built by late Neolithic people, which depicts a matriarchal society based on farming. Move on to visit the Great Mosque -the largest and best-preserved mosques of China, which serves as an important spot for religious activities of over 60,000 Muslims in Xi'an. Proceed to visit the City Wall - the best preserved, oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China. The wall has a history of over 600 years. Then we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda -Originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Now it is Landmark of the Xian.

Day 11. Xian - Guilin, Reed Flute, Elephant Trunk Hill
Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Guilin.
Arriving in Guilin, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide. Have private city tour in this scenery city. Visit Reed Flute Cave -Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" contains beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit Elephant Trunk Hill -the symbol of Guilin, looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk. Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 12. Li River Cruise, YangShuo, Back to Guilin city
Pick up from your hotel in the morning.
Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier (about 1 hour drive) for a 4.5 hours wonderful Li River cruise with lunch aboard. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the riverbank. Disembark at the one thousand year old town YangShuo -one-thousand-year-old town, a lovely and relaxing place to break a journey and to soak up some of China's most beautiful scenery in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town before to be transferred back to Guilin city. (B, L)





Day 13. Guilin - Chongqing, Giant Panda House, the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell, Check in the cruise ship
Transfer to airport to connect flight for Chongqing.
Be picked up by English speaking tour guide and vehicle from Chongqing airport. Visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell if time permits. After dinner in a local restaurant, be transferred to cruise port. Leave Chongqing at 23:30. (B, L, D)



Day 14. Yangtze River Cruise Ship
In the afternoon, go ashore to visit-Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The balance of the day is free for you to explore the ship's amenities. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats. In the evening, you will be the guests at the captain's cocktail party. (B,L,D)





Day 15. Yangtze River Cruise Ship
Cruise through the two of the great Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, framed by steep mossy cliffs and Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. Then shore excursion to Shennong Stream, Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of the Three Gorges.
Pass through the five-step ship locks. Enjoy Farewell Party in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 16. Cruise ship- Yichang - Shanghai
Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. Arrives in Yichang at 11:30.
Be met by our local tour guide and transferred to airport to connect flight to Shanghai. (B,L)

Day 17. Yu Garden and Market, Jade Buddha Temple, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Bund
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit Yu Garden -one of the best Suzhou-style gardens in southern China, and Yu Market. Visit Jade Buddha Temple - famous Buddhist temple in downtown. Then we will visit Nanjing Road and Oriental Pearl TV Tower -the world's third tallest TV and radio tower, which combines ancient concepts with 21st Century technology. Visit the Bund -famous waterfront with art-like buildings in China, the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years.

Day 18. Hangzhou one day tour from Shanghai

Pick up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive to Hangzhou. Take one-day tour of this city including Ling Yin Temple -one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China. Cruise on West Lake, visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda -a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum-the State-level professional one in China. Transfer back to your hotel in Shanghai after the whole day tour. (B, L)

Day 19. Departure
Be picked up from your hotel, transferred to the airport to connect the flight to return to your sweet home. (B)
