Beijing 4 days private tour offers a leisurely holiday in Beijing. We can pick you up from train station or airport on first day and transfer you back to airport or railway station at the end of the tour. The schedule of this tour is not so hurry. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Entry Beijing, Forbidden City
Arrive in Beijing airport or railway station. Be met by English speaking tour guide. Be transferred to hotel by private vehicle. Tour guide will help you to check in hotel. Please let us know if you need us to reserve hotel for you in Beijing.
After check in hotel, we will drive to Forbidden City -also called Palace Museum. Forbidden City is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Visit Forbidden City for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Have dinner in nice local restaurant. Be transferred back to your hotel to have a good rest after the tour. (Dinner)

Day 2. Ming Tombs, Great Wall, Beijing Roast Duck Dinner

Pick you up from hotel lobby at 08:30 am. Drive 1.5 hours to Ming Tomb. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427. Visit Changling for 1 hour.
We will visit a large scale jade processing factory on the way to restaurant. There is workshop for demonstration of Jade carving, 5 interpreting rooms for us to know the processes of Chinese jade carving and Chinese jade culture. You may also take photo in the huge Jade exhibition hall or buy some jade carving souvenir as you like.
After lunch, we will drive to Badaling Great Wall. Badaling Great Wall -the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours.
Drive back to Beijing city to taste delicious Beijing Roast Duck dinner in a local restaurant. Eating Peking duck is seen to be one of the two things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3. Lama Temple, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace

Pick up from your hotel at 08:30 am. Visit Lama Temple - a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism. It is the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Before being a temple, it is a former imperial palace in Qing dynasty.
Drive to have lunch near Temple of Heaven for delicious Chinese lunch.
Then we will visit the Temple of Heaven - built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building cmplex in the world. Take sightseeing in the temple for one hour.
Drive 50 minutes to visit Summer Palace -20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Take sightseeing for 1 hour.
Visit a Chinese fresh water pearl shop near Summer Palace to do some shopping. It a nice place to buy a necklace or bracelet. It is very good gift from China. After dinner in a local Chinese restaurant, drive to Qianmen hotel to enjoy Beijing Opera in Liyuan Theatre. Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Lunch, Dinner)



Day 4. Beijing Hutong Tour, Departure

Pick you up from your hotel. Be transferred to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Hutong including Drum tower, Local family, Shicha Lake, and Bar Street.
Be transferred to airport or train station for departure. (Lunch)
