- Day 1. Arrival at Beijing.
Reach Beijing airport or railway station. Your private guide will wait at the exit and escort you to hotel for check in.

- Day 2. Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Olympic Park.
Your private guide will pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
Take a stroll on the largest downtown square in the world, Tiananmen Square. The square has witnessed the founding of the new China.
Then visit Forbidden City. This world's largest palace complex was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1368-1911).- Proceed to Summer Palace after lunch. Combining lakes, gardens and ancient structures, Summer Palace is the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China.
Admire the most outstanding architectures in Olympic Park, Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Have an outside view of these two venues.

- Day 3. Beijing: Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall.

Visit Ming Tombs in the morning. With a history of over 600 years, Ming Tombs is the final resting place of 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644).
Discover the largest and the first built tomb, Changling. It is the tomb of the third Ming Emperor Zhu Di and his wife.- Head to the famous Badaling Great Wall in the afternoon. Badaling is the best preserved and most popular section of the Great Wall of China. It is close Beijing city and featured with magnificent architectures and breathtaking nature scenery.

- Day 4. Beijing Hutong, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Zoo, Lama Temple.

Visit Beijing Hutongs by rickshaws. Beijing Hutongs are narrow lanes surrounded by traditional courtyard residences. They have a history of over 700 years and represent the traditional culture and way of life of old Beijingers.
Continue to Temple of Heaven, the largest sacrificial building complex in the world. The temple was the place where emperors came to perform worship to the God of Heaven and pray for good harvests.- Move on to Beijing Zoo, the biggest downtown zoo in China with the largest number of animal species. You can find the national treasure animal, giant pandas, in the zoo.
Then visit Lama Temple, which is the large and well preserved Tibetan monastery in Beijing. The Hall of Harmony and Peace is the main building of the temple.

- Day 5. Take flight to Urumqi. Arrive in Urumqi, Erdaoqiao Bazaar.
Pick you up from hotel and transfer to airport. Take flight to Urumqi.

Drive to Erdaoqiao Bazaar, the largest Uigur bazaar in Urumqi.

- Day 6. Urumqi: Red Hill Park, Heavenly Lake.

Procced to Red Hill Park. The park is located on Red Hill, the symbol of Urumqi. Red Hill is unique for making up of reddish-brown rocks. At the top of the hill stands 8-meter high pagoda with nine stories, called "Zhenlong pagoda". - Then drive to Heavenly Lake. Formerly known as Yaochi (Jade Lake), Heavenly Lake is an alpine moraine lake formed during the Quaternary Period Glacier activity more than 2 million years ago. You can enjoy snow-capped peaks, flowers, green trees and crystal water at the same time.

- Day 7. Turpan: Jiaohe Ancient City, Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, Flaming Mountain.

Drive to Turpan.
Visit Jiaohe Ancient City, which was once one of the most prosperous cities along the Ancient Silk Road. The city has a history of over 2,300 years. Featuring the architectural style of Tang Dynasty(618-907), Ancient City of Jiaohe is a rare example of earthen city.
Then go to Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves. The caves are well hidden and rest on a long ridge overlooking a valley. There are 67 caves dating from the Northern and Southern dynasties (317 - 589) to the Yuan dynasty (1279 - 1368).- Move on to Flaming Mountain, the lowest and hottest place in China. The rocks have a distinctive red color because of geographical conditions here.

- Day 8. Turpan: Ancient Karez System, Grape Valley, Emin Minaret, take train to Dunhuang.

Visit Ancient Karez System. With an history of over 2,000 years, Ancient Karez System is an irrigation project in Northwest China. The system extracts groundwater to surface and turned the desert into an oasis. Some of them are still in use in Turpan.- Proceed to Grape Valley in the afternoon. Lying at the base of the western end of Flaming Mountains, Grape Valley is a unique world of vineyards and fruit trees. Tourists can see and taste various kinds of grapes, watch Uyghur song and dance performances and visit Uyghur folk houses, etc.
Move on to Emin Minaret. Built in 1778, Emin Minaret is the largest Islamic tower in Xinjiang region. The tower has a bowling-pin shape and decorated with over 15 geometrical patterns and textures. The mosque nearby can accommodate 1,000 people at the same time.
Afterwards, transfer you to train station in Urumqi.
Take overnight train to Dunhuang. - Breakfast, Lunch,
- Day 9. Arrive in Dunhuang, Mogao Grottoes, Dunhuang Museum.
Have breakfast on the train before arriving.
Local guide will meet you at train station.
Drive to visit Mogao Grottoes. First constructed in 366AD, Mogao Grottoes is a large cave temple combining art of architecture, murals and painting sculptures. It is also known as "the Cave of Thousand Buddhas".- Then visit Dunhuang Museum. The museum houses more than 4000 pieces of cultural relics from primitive society to the end of the Qing Dynasty. The material objects providing the plenty evidences to "Silk Road" are also exhibited here.

- Day 10. Dunhuang: Echoing-Sand Dune and the Crescent Moon Lake, flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian and hotel check-in.

Go to visitEchoing-Sand Dune and the Crescent Moon Lake. Echoing-Sand Mountain is a sand mountain range surrounded by rolling ridges and precipitous cliffs. It is made up of tinny sands of five colors, red, yellow, blue, white and black.
Crescent Moon Lake is a natural wonder encircled by the Echoing-Sand Mountain. Existing for hundreds of years, the lake is still crystal clear and never has been buried by the sand.
- After lunch, drive you to airport to take flight for Xian.

- Day 11. Xian: Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Pool, Stele Forest Museum, Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show.

Drive about 1 hour to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Be honored as the Eighth Wonder in the World, Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a part of the Mausoleum of the Emperor Qin Shihuang(259-210BC). Over 8,000 life-size warriors, horses and chariots are arranged in battle formations.- After lunch, proceed to Huaqing Pool. Huaqing Pool had been a resort palace for many dynasties because of its natural beauty and hot spring resources. It has become a landmark site for Chinese Tang Culture.
Move on to Stele Forest Museum. The museum is composed of three parts: Confucian Temple, Stele Forest and Stone Sculpture Art Galleries. More than 11,000 cultural relics are housed in the museum including stone inscriptions, epigraphs and Buddhist statues. - Have delicious Dumplings for dinner. With different tastes, appearances and cooking techniques, dumpling dinner become an unmissable authentic dainty for travelers to Xian.
Enjoy Tang Dynasty Show after dinner. Tang Dynasty Show presents the essence of music and dance art of the Tang Dynasty over a thousand years ago.

- Day 12. Xian: Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Wall, Great Mosque.

First proceed to Shaanxi History Museum. Over 1,700,000 cultural relics are displayed in this comprehensive museum to show the history and culture of Shaanxi province and ancient China.
Move on to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang.- Go on to Ancient City Wall, one of the most important landmarks of Xian. It was built over 600 years ago as an important military defensive system to fortify the city.
Then visit Great Mosque. With a history of over 1,200 year, Great Mosque is one of the oldest and largest mosques in China. It was designed with traditional Chinese architecture style and decorated with Islamic culture.

- Day 13. Take flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa, Nietang Buddha.
Pick you up from hotel and transfer to airport. Take flight to Lhasa.

View the Nietang Buddha on the way to your hotel. Nietang Buddha is the biggest stone statue engraved on a cliff in Tibet and the first attraction to welcome visitors to Lhasa.

- Day 14. Lhasa: Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka Park.

Start your trip with Potala Palace. Originally built in the seventh century, Potala Palace is the highest ancient palace in the world. It is famous for its grand architecture, delicate artworks as well as the strong religious atmosphere.
Continue to Sera Monastery. As one of the three largest monasteries in Lhasa, Sera Monastery enjoys good reputation among visitor by its buildings of Tibetan style, Buddhist culture, and Buddhist Scriptures debating.- Visit Norbulingka Park in the afternoon. Built in 1751 during the reign of the seventh Dalai Lama, Norbulingka Park was served as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama. It has 374 rooms of different sizes.

- Day 15. Lhasa: Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street.

Drive to Drepung Monastery. The monastery was established in 1416 and is known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. It mainly consists of Ganden Potrang, Cogen Hall, Kamcuns as well as 4 Zhacangs.- Proceed to Jokhang Temple. With a history of more than 1300 years, Jokhang Monastery holds a high status in Tibetan Buddhism. It is the ultimate pilgrimage destination of Tibetan Buddhists.
Take a stroll on Barkhor Street Bazaar. Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts assemble here.

- Day 16. Lhasa – Gyantze – Shigatse.

Leave for Shigatse. On the way, we will visit pass by Yamdrok Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet.
Then pass by Carola Glacier, one of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet. The glacier has various layers in the ice stack.- Reach Gyantze and visit Palkhor Monastery. It is a monastery combing three major sects of the Tibetan Buddhism, Sakya, Kadampa and Gelug sects. More than 100,000 Buddha statues can be found in the monastery.
Move on to TSONG BURG. With a history of more than 600 years, this castle is the best preserved dzongs in Tibet. You can overlook the Gyangze County and watch Palkhor Monastery from the castle.
Arrive in Shigatse and check in the hotel. - Breakfast, Lunch,
- Day 17. Tashilhunpo Monastery, back to Lhasa.

Drive to Tashilhunpo Monastery. The monastery is the seat of the Panchen Lama, and the largest functioning religious institution in Tibet.

Start your Shanghai trip with Yu Garden. This well-restored Suzhou-style garden is one of the best gardens in southern China. It perfectly combines pavilions, halls, bridges, towers, ponds and rockeries.
Go on to Jade Buddha Temple, a Buddhist temple with the architecture style of Song Dynasty(960-1279). The temple houses many ancient Buddhist sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures.
Take a stroll on Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road is the most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai and one of the top ten pedestrian streets in China. - After lunch, proceed to Oriental Pearl TV Tower. This 468-meter-high tower is the most recognizable landmark of Shanghai. It has four major sightseeing observatories at different heights.
Wander on The Bund. The Bund is a famous waterfront along the Huangpu River. It is famed as "Exhibition of International Buildings" because of 52 various buildings in different architectural styles, such as Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque and the Renaissance.
