Detailed Itinerary
- Day 1. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.
You will be picked up from your hotel at appointed time.
Drive to the largest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Proceed to visit the Forbidden City for about 2 hours. Forbidden City was the exclusive domain of the imperial court for about 600 years. It consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms.
After have a short visit of Chinese traditional medicine culture, we will visit the Temple of Heaven for about 1 hour. Built in 1420 during Ming Dynasty, Temple of Heaven is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.- Then have Chinese lunch and enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market.
Afterwards, drive about 30 minutes to the largest imperial garden of China, Summer Palace. Enjoy the natural scenery and artificial landscape for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
You will be transferred back to your hotel at about 18:00. - Lunch, ,
- Day 2. Ming Tombs(Changling), Mutianyu Great Wall.
Drive to Thirteen Ming Tombs, which are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs. We will visit Changling for about one hour. Changling is the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs. The main buildings include Ling'en Gate, Ling'en Hall, Lingxing Gate and Treasure City.
Then have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local arts, which covers excellent carving skill and Chinese traditional cultures.- After lunch, proceed to Mutianyu Great Wall. It is the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 22 original style watchtowers. Sightseeing on Great Wall is
around 1.5 to 2 hours. Cable car is available on your own cost.
Afterwards, we will back to Beijing city and enjoy Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony.
