4 Days Beijing Join in Bus Tour including Badaling Great Wall

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival.  
• 
  Arrive in Beijing. You will be met at the exit of airport or railway station in Beijing and transferred to hotel by private vehicle.
•   , ,
• Day 2. Ming Tombs(Dingling),Badaling Great Wall.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel at appointed time (between 7:00am - 7:30am).
  Drive to Ming Tombs, the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with about 600 years history. We will visit Dingling Tomb for one hour. Dingling is the only one of the Ming Tombs excavated so far.
  Then take a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. You can get a glimpse of Chinese Jade culture.
• After lunch, proceed to Badaling Great Wall. Built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty, Badaling is the best preserved and most visited section of great wall. Climb Badaling Great Wall and discover this ancient defence project for two hours. Cable car is optional at your own expense.
  Drive back to downtown Beijing and enjoy Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony.
  After tour, be transferred back to your hotel.

• Day 3. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel at appointed time (between 7:00am - 7:30am).
  Drive to Tiananmen Square, the largest downtown square in the world. From a rostrum on the Gate of Heavenly Peace, Chairman Mao announced the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
  Go on visiting Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours. As the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure building in the world, Forbidden City was once the home of 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties(1420-1912).
  Then visit a Chinese medicine shop and get some knowledge of Chinese medicine.
  Proceed to Temple of Heaven, the largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Its layout and architectures imply the traditional view of "the Heaven is round and the Earth is square." The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
• After lunch, we will go to a pearl free market to see various kind of pearl products.
  Head to visit Summer Palace for about one hour and twenty minutes. Summer Palace is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China.
  After tour, be transferred back to your hotel at around 6:00pm.

• Day 4. Panda House, Bird Nest and Water Cube, Lama Temple, Beijing Hutong, Jingshan Park, Departure.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel at appointed time (between 7:30am - 8:30am).
  Drive to Panda House in Beijing Zoo to see China's national treasure, giant panda. This lovely animal symbolizes peace and friendship.
  Then visit the Bird Nest and Water Cube for about 45 minutes. Have an outside view of these two famous stadiums for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. If you want to discover the inner structures, the cost is on your own.
  Afterwards, visit Lama Temple for one hour. Also called "Yonghegong", Lama Temple is largest Tibetan monastery in Beijing. It features five large halls and five courtyards with many treasuries of Buddhist art.
  Lunch will be arranged in a typical Beijing resident's house.
• After lunch, explore Beijing Hutong by taking rickshaws. The narrow lanes surrounded by traditional courtyard residences present the old beijing. You can feel the real life of old Beijingers. Hutong visiting lasts for 2 hours.
  Then drive you to the Jingshan Park. The Jingshan Hill in the park is made from the soil which was excavated for the moats of the Forbidden City. From the top of the hill, you can get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.
  Proceed to a Silk Shop to enjoy Chinese Traditional Silk Arts.
  Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour. Have a rest at hotel.
• Be picked up again from hotel at appointed time by private vehicle and transferred to airport or railway station for departure.
