Huangshicheng is the Imperial Archives of Ming and Qing dynasty. It was first built in July, 1534 and finished in July, 1536 in Ming dynasty Jiajing Period. It covers about 8,460 square meters. The building covers about 3,400 square meters. It is the most completed royal archives which still exists in China. This Imperial Archives has more than 460 years history.
