Introduction

Construction

Phase one of China Science and Technology Museum was built up and opened to the public on September 22, 1988, while phase two on April 29, 2000 and the new one on September 16, 2009. First built on May 9, 2006, the new hall of Chinese Science and Technology Museum is located in No.5 Beichen East Road in Chaoyang District, with Asian Games community to the east, Olympic water system to the west, Olympic park to the south and Forest Park to the north. It covers about 48,000 square meters. The new building of the museum has a Lu Ban lock shape and it also looks like a magic cube, which means unlocking and exploring the mystery.
