Established on June 1st 1996, China Printing Museum is also called China News Museum. Located on the main campus of Beijing Publish College, it shows the standing works of Chinese publishing, printing equipments and related materials. They are of high artistic and academic value. It is lack of the works of contemporary age. Copy works of printings on the silks excavated from Mawangdui are amazing! It is large and suitable for children.

Main Exhibition Halls

Source Ancient Hall
Located on the third floor of the Museum and covering 800 square meters, the Source Ancient Hall shows the historical process of the source, invention, development and broad of ancient Chinese publishing skills with pictures, words, material objects and models.
Modern Hall
Located on the second floor and covering 800 square meters, the Modern Hall shows the development of Chinese modern publishing industry and the modernization of related industry with exhibition board and material objects. There are also live operating shows.
Comprehensive Hall
Comprehensive Hall is located on the first floor of the Museum. Famous printing companies and Scientific Research Institute set their booths there. Printing boutiques also have the special exhibition area. There are also the bronze statue of Bisheng, giant screen, gift shop and audience resting place.
Printing Equipment Hall
Publishing Equipment Hall is under the ground. It covers about 2,200 square meters. It was first built up in May 2001. This hall shows the development of Chinese modern printing industry and publishing equipments.
Thematic Exhibition Area
On the 1st and 2nd floor of the museum, there are publishing of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, money printing, postage stamp printing and printing in early Europe and other thematic show areas. Some precious exhibits are showed there. Those thematic shows all have strong value to learn and appreciate.
Highlight

The undisputed highlight of the museum is the exhibition on Bi Sheng's invention of movable type printing (circa 1040 AD). The museum provides an in-depth look at this world-changing innovation with detailed models, diagrams, and replicas of the clay type pieces. It powerfully reinforces China's pivotal role in the history of communication and knowledge dissemination.
Another key highlight is the collection of ancient woodblock-printed books, which are stunning works of art and craftsmanship.

Yoga:
The museum is large. The most conspicuous one should be the bronze statue of Bisheng, the inventer of movable type printing. The main exhibitions show ancient Chinese printing skills. It is suitable for the whole family with children to visit.
Nina:
China Publish Museum is located on the main campus of Beijing Publish College. It is said to be the largest Publish Museum in Asia. There is show of publishing machines at home and abroad.

There are not so many visitors here, which makes the visit quite comfortable. It shows the device results of Chinese publishing in different period. It's meaningful.
