Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Shanghai Museum, People's Square, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road.  
• 
  Arrive in Shanghai. You will be met by your private guide at the exit of airport or train station.
  Drive to Shanghai Museum. With a round top and a square base, Shanghai Museum is a comprehensive museum displaying history and art of ancient China. The museum houses more than 120,000 pieces of cultural relics including bronze wares, ceramics, jade, sculptures, paintings and calligraphy works.
  Walk around on the People's Square where Shanghai Museum is located. The square is the center of politics, culture, commerce and transportation of Shanghai.
• Then visit Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum to enjoy lifelike wax figures. There is a large horrible interactive area in the museum, named "Screaming Hall". The live performances and wax statues in pitch darkness will give you a heart-stopping adventure.
  Proceed to Yu Garden. The garden presents the art and skills of Chinese traditional gardens from the pavilions, cloisters, bridges, ponds, rockeries and exquisite carvings.
  Go to the busiest shopping street in Shanghai, Nanjing Road. With a history of over 100 years, Nanjing Road has over 600 businesses including all-in-one shopping malls, old-brand stores, latest fashion stores, world-class hotels, cafés and restaurants.
  Be delivered to hotel for check-in.

• Day 2. Zhouzhuang Water Town.

  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to Zhouzhuang Water Town. Located at the middle between Shanghai and Suzhou, Zhouzhuang Water Town is thought to be the best waterside town in China. This ancient town has a history of about 1,000 years. With lakes on four sides, the town boasts 100 residential houses and 14 distinctive ancient stone bridges.
• Have a leisurely and relaxing day in Water Town.
  Be delivered back to hotel in downtown Shanghai in the afternoon.

• Day 3. Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Municipal History Museum, Huaihai Road, the Bund, Departure.

  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Head to Pudong New Area first. The area is the first free trade zone in China and one of the important financial centers of the world.
  Visit the important landmark of Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower. With 468 meters high in total, the tower is made up of eleven spheres. Visitors can enjoy the fantastic city view at different heights.
  Know about the history of Shanghai in Shanghai Municipal History Museum in the basement of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The Museum displays the changes happened in every aspects of shanghai until the communist takeover in 1949.
• Continue to Huaihai Road, another shopping paradise in Shanghai. Located in the old French Concession, the road speak for romance, elegance and delicacy. The stores of female articles here are very famous.
  Move on to the Bund. Famed as "Exhibition of International Buildings", the bund is the most popular place of Shanghai. 52 European buildings with different architectural styles built in the 19th century show the history of the city.
  After the tour, be delivered to airport or train station to see off.
