Beijing One Day Woman Tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30.

On the way to visit Tiananmen Square, have an outside view of Grand Theater. Coverign an area of 11.89 million square meters, National Grand Theatre is located in the city center of Beijing, near Tan'anmen Square and Great Hall of the People. Designed by French architect Paul Andreu, the exterior of the theater is a titanium accented glass dome surrounded by artificial lake, like an egg floating on water.

Visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Enter the Palace Museum from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Known as Forbidden City, the Palace Museum is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics. The palace was the exclusive domain of the imperial court for almost 500 years, 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty. As one of the World Cultural Relics, the palace consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms.

Move on to visit Summer Palace. The Summer Palace was first built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 2.9 square kilometers, including 70,000 square meters of building space. The Summer Palace perfectly combines the natural landscape of hills and open water with humankind works such as pavilions, halls, palaces and bridges. In 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List.

Have an outside view of Bird Nest. As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium, also called Bird's Nest, is located in the southern part of central area of Beijing Olympic Park. The National Stadium was used to hold the Olympic Games, the opening and closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, track and field events and the Soccer finals.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
