Brief Itinerary

Day 1. Be met from airport and transfer to hotel in downtown Xian.
Day 2. Terracotta Warriors Museum, Shannxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 3. Visit Mountain Hua. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 4. Xianyang Museum, Qianling Mausoleum, Local Village. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 5. Visit a National Wetland Park. Bird Watching is available. Visit Xian City Wall.(Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 6. Be met from hotel and transfer to airport for departure. (Breakfast)

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival
Arrive in Xian.
Be met from airport by private vehicle and be transferred to hotel for checking in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Terracotta Warriors Museum, Shannxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Terracotta Warriors and Horse MuseumBe met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.

Drive to visit of Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. Terracotta Warriors is the Eighth Wonder of the World, because of its historical significance and uniqueness. It is the a form of funerary art buried with Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first unifier of China dating back to 210 BC. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Every figure differs from those around in facial features and expression, clothing, hairstyle, and gestures. 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses are scatted in three excavated pits.

Then visit Shannxi History Museum. Shannxi History Museum is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China, featuring an architectural style of the Tang Dynasty. It is the best cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the systematic development process of Chinese civilization. The museum houses over 300,000 items including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects.

Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a landmark of Xian city. It was first built in 652AD for the storage of Buddhist sutras and figurines. The pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. The present 7-storey Pagoda was built with layers of bricks without any cement in between.

Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.

Day 3. Mountain Hua.

Drive to visit Mountain Hua. Mountain Hua is one of the five best-known mountains in China. It is famous for its breath-taking cliffs. Along the 12-kilometer-long winding path up to the top are awe-inspiring precipices, looking into which will take your breath away. Mountain Hua boasts a lot of places of interest. Here and there stand Buddhist and Taoist temples, pavilions and buildings as well as sculptures and engravings. Along the cliff of South Peak is a planked path equipped with an iron chain, with the help of which, adventurers can walk on the frightful path.

Transfer back to hotel after the tour.

Day 4. Xianyang Museum, Qianling Mausoleum, Local Village.

Drive to visit Xianyang Museum. Xianyang Museum focuses its exhibition on the historical relics of the Qin and the Han dynasties. 28 kilometers west of Xi'an, Xianyang City was the capital of the Qin Dynasty and also the central location of the Han Dynasty's Mausoleum. The highlights of the museum are the 3000 painted terracotta warriors and horses of the Western Han Dynasty.

The visit Qianling Mausoleum. Located on the peak of Liangshan, Qingling Mausoleum is the tomb complex of Emperor Gaozong and his empress Wuzetian, the first and only governing empress. It is one of the best preserved tombs among the Tang Dynasty's 18 mausoleums. Stone sculptures scatter around everywhere in the mausoleum sites.

Visit a local village. It is a village preserving original Guanzhong folk customs. Their is an antique street with grey bricks and tiles lined with kinds of traditional workshops. It is a good place to taste characteristics snacks and experience guanzhong folk culture.

Transfer back to hotel after the tour.

Day 5. National Wetland Park, Xian City Wall.

Drive to visit a National Wetland Park. Bird Watching is available. The Park is located in the delta where Ba River enters into Weikou. It is one of the three migratory bird migratory routes in China. The wetland park has sufficient water, so it is the home to a variety of wild waterfowl, such as Swan goose, Anser indicus, white - faced herons and swans, etc. The four landmark buildings in the park are Quyuan Gate, Science
Museum, Bird-watching Tower and Wetland Water Street.

Then visit Xian City Wall. With a history of 600 years, Xian City Wall is the oldest, largest and best preserved city wall of China. It was used to be an important military defensive system to fortify the city. The Ancient City Wall boasts the gates, tunnels and watch towers. The South Gate and North Gate are the two main entrances to the inner city.

Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.
