Brief Itinerary

Day 1. Be met from airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 2. Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am. visit Tomb of 2nd Emperor and Museum, move on to visit the tile and brick from Qin Dynasty. Proceed to visit Shannxi History Museum.(Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 3. Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am. Deep visit of Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum and Outside view of Mausoleum of Qin Dynasty First Emperor. Visit a Terracotta Warriors Copy Factory. Enjoy Qin Opera in a local Theater. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4. Be transferred to airport. Service end.  (Breakfast)

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival
Arrive in Xian.
Be met from airport by private vehicle and be transferred to hotel for checking in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Tomb of 2nd Emperor and Museum, the tile and brick from Qin Dynasty, Shannxi History Museum.

Drive to visit Tomb of 2nd Emperor and Museum. It shows the history and culture of Qing Dynasty(216 BC-207 BC).

Move on to visit a museum dedicated to the tile and brick from Qin Dynasty. The museum collects more than 3,000 brickes and titles inscribed with different patterns and characters during the ancient time of China, espically in the Qing(216 BC-207 BC) and Han Dynasty(202 BC-220 AD). These pottery relics reproduce the broad and profound ancient Chinese civilization.

Proceed to visit Shannxi History Museum. Shannxi History Museum is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China, featuring an architectural style of the Qin Dynasty. It is the best cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the systematic development process of Chinese civilization. The museum houses over 300,000 items including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects.

Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.

Day 3. Deep visit of Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum and Outside view of Mausoleum of Qin Dynasty First Emperor, Qin Opera.

Drive to have a deep visit of Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. Terracotta Warriors is the Eighth Wonder of the World, because of its historical significance and uniqueness. It is the a form of funerary art buried with Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first unifier of China dating back to 210 BC. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Every figure differs from those around in facial features and expression, clothing, hairstyle, and gestures. 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses are scatted in three excavated pits.

Move on to have an outside view of Mausoleum of Qin Dynasty First Emperor. The Mausoleum of First Emperor of Qin is the resting place of the first unifier of China, the Emperor Qin Shihuang. The layout of the mausoleum was designed to resemble the Qin capital Xianyang, divided into inner and outer cities. The main tomb chamber houses the coffin and burial artifacts. It has not yet been excavated.

Then visit a Terracotta Warriors Copy Factory.

Enjoy Qin Opera in a local Theater. Qinqiang Opera is one of the oldest operas in Norwest area of China. It appeared in West Zhou Dynasty(1046BC-771BC) and became popular in the Qin Dynasy(216BC-207BC). There are 13 kinds of characters in Qinqiang Opera. The songs are bold and touching, the music is colorful and elegant, and the performances are simple, rough, delicate, profound and full of exaggeration.

Be transferred back to hotel after the dinner.
