Hiking Tour from Jishanling Great Wall to Simatai Great Wall

Simatai Great Wall- It is often described with the following five words: perilous, dense, diverse, ingenuous, and peculiar.

Jinshanling Great Wall is located northwest of Simatai Great Wall. It needs around 4 hours hiking.

Usually, the driver will put you at the Jinshanling Great Wall first. Then our tour guide will escort you from Jinshanling to Simatai Great Wall. The driver and vehicle will meet you at Simatai Great Wall.

Please do prepare a soft shoes for this Hiking tour.
The tour is is a little hard, but the scenery is amazing.

Detailed Itinerary of Hiking Tour from Jinshanling Great Wall to Simatai Great Wall Tour

Pick up at the hotel at 08:00am.
Drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. Take hiking from Jinshanling to Simatai. The Great Wall hiking tour take 3.5-4.5 hours. The time is depends on how fast you walk. :)

Note: Please tell you tour guide in advance if you do not want to walk so long, then you can visit Jinshanling and Simatai Great Wall seperately. Our driver will transfer you from Jinshanling to Simatai after visiting Jinshanling.


Be transferred back to the hotel after the whole day tour. (Lunch included)

6. There're many venders on Simatai and Jinshanling Great Wall. They make their livings by selling some postcard, mineral water,etc. All of them come from the village nearby; they are friendly. These venders even can help you carry the bag, giving you a hand on the steep steps if you need. For sure, the tips is necessary. : )
