Beijing Bus Tour to Badaling Great Wall, Summer Palace and Acrobatics Show

Itinerary

Pick-up from your hotel between 7:00am and 7:30am, then driving one hour to get to Summer Palace. And visit for 1 hour.

Summer Palace was first built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 2.9 square kilometers, including 70,000 square meters of building space. Summer Palace perfectly combines the natural landscape of hills and open water with humankind works such as pavilions, halls, palaces and bridges. In 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List.

After the visit of Summer Palace. Before having lunch, you will have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.

Having traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant.

After lunch, driving 30 minutes and get to the Badaling Great Wall. The Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers.
Badaling was built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty. This section of the Great Wall is the best preserved and most visited one. It is 7600 meters long and 1000 meters above sea level,commanding a strategic position in ancient times.
The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Cable car is available and optional.

On the way to hotels, you will have a chance to enjoy Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony.

Then drive to enjoy the Acrobatic Show. Upon arrival at the theatre, you will be taken to your seat with the assistance of both your tour guide and theatre staff who have your pre-reserved entrance tickets.
The Acrobatics at Beijing are not to be missed. They are put on each night and last for about one and half hours. The Beijing Acrobatic Troupe is one of the best in China. An acrobatic show has become one of the most popular evening entertainments for tourists in Beijing. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking, and plate-spinning acts and more.

The show ends and you will be transferred back to your hotel around 7:30pm.
