Detail Itinerary of 11 Days China Tour of Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Shanghai
Day 1. Entry Beijing
Arrive at Beijing airport.
Be picked by private vehicle and English-speaking tour guide from Beijingservice.com.
Be transferred to hotel for check in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.



Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Beijing Opera
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit Tiananmen Square -the biggest downtown Square of the world. Walk around on Tiananmen Square. Then we will enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Take sightseeing in Forbidden City along the central axis for 1.5 to 2 hours. Then we will drive to Summer palace - 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Take sightseeing for 1 to 1.5 hours. Have dinner in a restaurant with Beijing local favor. Enjoy Beijing opera in theatre. Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts. It presents an encyclopedia of Chinese culture as well as unfolding stories, beautiful paintings, exquisite costumes and graceful gestures. Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. Day 3.Ming Tombs, Sacred Way, Badaling Great Wall, Beijing Roast Duck
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive one and half hours to the Ming Tombs. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427. Visit the tomb for one hour.
Move on to visit the sacred way for half an hour.
Drive 20minutes to restaurant for lunch.
Move on to the famous Badaling Great Wall -the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours. Cable car is arranged to get the top to have a bird view of the wall.
Drive back to Beijing city to have Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner. Eating Peking duck is seen to be one of the two things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)


Day 4. Beijing Hutong Tour, Temple of Heaven, Beijing - Xian
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Be transferred to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Beijing Hutong including Drum tower, Local family, Shicha Lake, Kindergarten and Bar Street. Drive to the Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Have sightseeing in Temple of Heaven for about one hour.
Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Xian.
Xian Tour guide and private vehicle will meet you at Xian airport. Transfer your to the hotel. (B, L)

Day 5. Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Spring, Forest of Stone Steles Museum, Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Show
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses -the Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Move on to appreciate the imperial garden of Tang Dynasty- Huaqing Hot Spring - a palace since the Tang Dynasty, the resort place of many emperors in ancient. Then to visit the Forest of Stone Steles Museum -a classical courtyard styled structure with the oldest and richest collection of steles in China.
Taste local Dumpling Banquet -traditional food for Chinese New Year. It is a must taste food in China. Enjoy Tang Dynasty Show -performance of Chang'an music and dances that was originated in the Tang dynasty over a thousand years ago. The musicians present the music with the Tang-dynasty-style musical instruments. You will enjoy a national art that reflects the glory and richness of the Tang Dynasty era. Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 6. Great Mosque, Provincial Museum, City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit the Great Mosque -the largest and best-preserved mosques of China, which serves as an important spot for religious activities of over 60,000 Muslims in Xi'an.
Visit the Provincial Museum -a magnificent architectural complex in the Tang Dynasty style. It is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China. Move on to visit the City Wall - the best preserved, oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China. The wall has a history of over 600 years. Then we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda -Originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Now it is Landmark of the Xian.
Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 7. Xian - Guilin, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Seven Star Park

Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Guilin.
Arriving in Guilin, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide. Have private city tour in this scenery city. Visit Reed Flute Cave -Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" contains beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit Elephant Trunk Hill -the symbol of Guilin, looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk. Visit Seven Star Park - the biggest park in Guilin.
Be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 8. Li River Cruise, YangShuo, Guilin
Pick up from your hotel in the morning.
Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier (about 1 hour drive) for a 4.5 hours wonderful Li River cruise with lunch aboard. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the riverbank. Disembark at the one thousand year old town YangShuo -one-thousand-year-old town, a lovely and relaxing place to break a journey and to soak up some of China's most beautiful scenery in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town before to be transferred back to Guilin city. (B, L)

Day 9. Guilin - Shanghai, Town God's Temple, Yu Garden, Yu Market
Transfer to airport to connect flight to Shanghai.
Arrive in Shanghai. Be met and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest in hotel, take a city tour to visit Town God's Temple. Visit Yu Garden -one of the best Suzhou-style gardens in southern China, and Yu Market. Be transferred back to the hotel, remainder of the day is at leisure. (B, L)

Day 10. Jade Buddha Temple, Old French Concession Area, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Bund, Huangpu River Cruise, Acrobatic Show
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit Jade Buddha Temple - famous Buddhist temple in downtown. Then to Old French Concession Area. Then we will visit Nanjing Road and Oriental Pearl TV Tower -the world's third tallest TV and radio tower, which combines ancient concepts with 21st Century technology. Visit the Bund -famous waterfront with art-like buildings in China, the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. Have a short Cruise on Huangpu River. Enjoy Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Be transferred back to the hotel after the performance. (B, L, D)

Day 11. Departure

Be picked up from your hotel, transferred to the airport to connect the flight to return to your sweet home. (B)
