Drive to and visit Fragrant Hill. Fragrant Hill Park was first built in 1186 and served as the emperor's traveling lodge for a long time. The park boasts beautiful landscape throughout the whole year. And the most enchanting sight is when smoke tree leaves turning red.
Proceed to a restaurant to have lunch and a short rest.
After lunch, drive to and visit Beijing Botanical Garden. Located Northwest of Beijing City, Beijing Botanical Garden is encircled by mountains fully covered with pines, firs and maples. With beautiful plants from all over the world, there are gardens planted peony, rose, tulip, lilac, peach, bonsai, crabapple, conifer, magnolia, etc. Wandering around in Beijing Botanical Garden is pleasant.
Then go to visit the Olympic Park. As the major venue of the 2008 Olympic Games, the Olympic Park contains three areas including the Forest Park in the north, major venue and supporting facilities area in the center and the completed stadiums and the reserved area. The completed stadiums contains the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), National Swimming Center (Water Cube) and the National Indoor Stadium (Folding Fans). Have an outside view of the Olympic Park.
Taste Chinese tea, enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
China is the hometown and birthplace of Chinese tea.
Being the national drinks of China, tea has a history of four to five thousand years.
Tea culture is one of the specific representative of Chinese culture.
After the day tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
