15 Days China tour of Silkroad
Beijing-xian-Lanzhou-Wuwei-Zhangye-Jiuquan-Jiayuguan-Dunhuang-Turpan - Urumqi-Guangzhou


Day 1. Arrival Beijing
Arrive in Beijing airport.
Be met & transferred to your hotel by English speaking guide of Beijingservice.com. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2. Beijing
Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square(largest city square), the Forbidden City(largest imperial palace in China), the Temple of Heaven(the place where the ancient emperors used to pray). Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening. (B,L, )



Day 3. Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall(One of the seven wonders in the world ), Ming Tomb(underground tomb of Ming Dynasty) and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.(B,L,D)

Day 4. Beijing - Xi'an
Visit Hutongs by rickshaw. Take afternoon flight to xian. Arrive at xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Have city tours to the Provincial Museum and the Ancient City Wall (An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history). Day 5. xian
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses (the greatest archaeological findings of the century), the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show (palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty) in the evening. (B,L, )

Day 6. xian - Lanzhou
Take morning flight to Lanzhou. Upon arriving in Lanzhou, be met and then visit the Grottoes around the Bingling Temple and have a short boat cruise in the Liujiaxia Reservoir. Acc: Sunshine Plaza (B,L, )

Day 7. Lanzhou - Wuwei
Be transferred to Wuwei, visit Lei Tai and Culture Temple. Acc:Tianma hotel, (B,L, )

Day 8. Wuwei - Zhangye - Jiuquan
Drive to Zhangye, visit Zhangye grand Buddha Temple. After that be transferred to Jiuquang, visit Jiuquang Garden. Acc: Jiuquang VIP Hotel, (B,L, )

Day 9. Jiuquang - Jiayuguan - Dunhuang
Drive to Jiayuguan pass, Visit the Jiayuguan Pass (western end of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty) and then be transferred to Dunhuang.

Day 10. Dunhuang
Have tours to the Mogao Caves ( hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures) and the Crescent Lake in the afternoon. (B,L, )




Day 11. Dunhuang - Turpan
Visit the Yumen Guan Pass (west gates out of the country of the Han Dynasty 206 B. C. -220 A. D.), the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, the Hecang Fortress and the Yang Guan Pass. In the afternoon, be transferred to railway station to take the overnight train (TrainT295, 2327-0736)to Turpan. Acc: Turpan Hotel, (B,L, )

Day 12. Turpan
Arrive at Turpan in the morning, be met at railway station and then visit the Gaochang Ancient City (laid in the first century B.C. and abandoned roughly in the 15th century), the Bezaklik Thousand Buddha Grottoes (contains 67 caves dating from the Northern and Southern dynasties,317 - 589, to the Yuan dynasty,1279 - 1368), the Karez Well (irrigation system of wells connected by underground channels and is considered as one of the three great ancient projects in China), the Flaming Mountain and the Grape Valley, Enjoy the cultural show of Uygur songs and dances. Day 13. Turpan - Urumqi
Morning tour to visit the Heavenly Lake (1900 meters above the sea level, particularly refreshing for travellers arriving in Urumqi from the barren deserts in Xinjiang). Acc: Hoi Tak Hotel, (B,L, )

Day 14. Urumqi
Visit the Southern Pasture ( in the beautiful valley of Tian Mountain) and the Erdaoqiao Bazaar (largest Uigur bazaar in Urumqi). (B,L, )

Day 15. Urumqi - Guangzhou - HongKong
Transfer to airport for flight to Guangzhou, then take a connect flight to HongKong. (B)
