Day 2. Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, SummerPalace, Beijing Opera
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am. Visit Tiananmen Square -the biggest downtown Square of the world.Walk around on Tiananmen Square.Then we will enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City also called PalaceMuseum and is located at the center of Beijing.It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Take sightseeing in Forbidden City along the central axis for 1.5 to 2 hours.Then we will drive to Summer palace - 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. SummerPalace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole SummerPalace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc.Take sightseeing for 1 to 1.5 hours.Have dinner in a restaurant with Beijing local favor.Enjoy Beijing opera in theatre. Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts.It presents an encyclopedia of Chinese culture as well as unfolding stories, beautiful paintings, exquisite costumes and graceful gestures.Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Day 3. Beijing
Ming Tombs, Sacred Way, Badaling Great Wall, Beijing Roast Duck.
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive one and half hours to the Ming Tombs. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427. Visit the tomb for one hour.
Move on to visit the sacred way for half an hour.
Drive 20minutes to restaurant for lunch.
Move on to the famous Badaling Great Wall -the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours. Cable car is arranged to get the top to have a bird view of the wall.
Drive back to Beijing city to have Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner. Eating Peking duck is seen to be one of the two things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4. Beijing
Hutong , Temple of Heaven, Beijing -Lanzhou
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Be transferred to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Beijing Hutong including Drum tower, Local family, ShichaLake, Kindergarten and Bar Street.Drive to the Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Have sightseeing in Temple of Heaven for about one hour.
Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Lanzhou.
Lanzhou tour guide and private vehicle will meet you at airport. Transfer your to the hotel. (B, L)





Day 5. Lanzhou
White Pagoda Park, the Provincial Museum
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle. VisitWhitePagodaPark. Located on the north bank of the Yellow River with a white pagoda temple on its height, it is a large, quiet area for strolling. The pagoda is structured in 7 terraces with an octagonal body and 17-meter in height. GoldenCityPass and JadeFoldingPass are at the foot of the Hill. Then visit the ProvincialMuseum. It has an excellent selection of exhibits relating to Gansu and the Silk Road. 75,000 cultural relics including natural resources and historical exhibits are exhibited here.

Day 6. Lanzhou - Xiahe
Sangke Grassland, Tibetan Family
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle. Be transferred to Xiahe. Visit the Sangke Grassland and a Tibetan Family. Sangke Grassland is bordered by the DaxiaRiver and famous for its excellent pasture and frequent magnificent Buddhist ceremonies. Lush green grass and colorful flowers form a natural carpet covering this expansive area. Groups of sheep and yaks plus white tents form a beautiful picture.
Overnight in Xiahe.

Day 7. Xiahe - Lanzhou
Labrang Monastery
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle. Visit the Labrang Monastery. As one of the six great monasteries of the Gelukpa (Yellow Hat) Sect, Labrang Monastery is Tibetan Buddhism's most important monastery town outside Tibet itself. It is famous for thousands of statues of Buddha made of gold, silver, copper, and aluminum. Seven large-scale summon ceremonies are held a year here. Be transferred back to Lanzhou.

Day 8. Lanzhou - Jiayuguan
Binglingsi Grottoes
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle. A full day excursion to the Binglingsi Grottoes. Located on the north bank of the Yellow River, Binglingsi Grottoes is one of the six famous BuddhistCaves started by some Buddhist monks from as early as the year of 265-316. After many years' work, there are 183 caves with 694 stone statues, 82 earth statues and 900 square meters murals existing. Be transferred to the airport to connect the flight to Jiayuguan, overnight in Jiayuguan.

Day 10. Dunhuang
Echoing-Sand Dune, Crescent Moon Lake
Pick you up from hotel, drive to visit desert. You will experience a short camel-riding along the Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the CrescentMoonLake. Surrounded by rolling ridges and precipitous cliffs, Echoing-SandMountain reaches a relative elevation of 250 meters. Every time when the wind sweeps across the sands, a thunder-like sound can be heard from the mountain, and the sound like musical instruments if there is a breeze, hence the name Echoing-Sand Mountain. Nearby, locates the CrescentMoonLake. It is a natural spring fed pond measuring about 240 meters from east to west, and 50 meters from north to south. It appears its clear and beautiful quietly. Day 11. Dunhuang
Mogao Grottoes, the Dunhuang Museum
Pick you up from hotel.
Visit the Mogao Grottoes, a system of 492 Buddhist cave temples. They are the greatest and most consummate repository of historical and cultural collection over a thousand years between China and other nations. The most noted collections are many pilgrims painted murals, Clay statues and 50,000 manuscripts written in many languages. Then visit the DunhuangMuseum. Established in 1979 with an area of 2400 square meters, this museum houses more than 4000 pieces of cultural relics from primitive society to the end of the Qing Dynasty. The material objects providing the plenty evidences to "Silk Road" are also exhibited here.

Day 12. Dunhuang - Xian
Be transferred to Dunhuang airport to connect the flight to Xian.
Be picked up by Xian guide and vehicle, transfer the hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 13. Xian
Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Spring, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Dumpling Banquet，Evening Tour in the Great Tang Dynasty Lotus Park
Be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 am.
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses -the Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Move on to appreciate the imperial garden of Tang Dynasty- Huaqing Hot Spring- a palace since the Tang Dynasty, the resort place of many emperors in ancient. Then we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda -Originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Now it is Landmark of the Xian. Taste local Dumpling Banquet -traditional food for Chinese New Year. It is a must taste food in China.Enjoy Tang Dynasty Show -performance of Chang’an music and dances that was originated in the Tang dynasty over a thousand years ago.Be transferred back to your hotel. Day 14. Xian
Provincial History Museum, Great Mosque and Bazaar, City Wall, DrumTower and Square
Be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 am. Visit the ProvincialMuseum -a magnificent architectural complex in the Tang Dynasty style. It is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China. Visit the Great Mosque -the largest and best-preserved mosques of China, which serves as an important spot for religious activities of over 60,000 Muslims in Xi’an. Visit the local Bazaar. Move on to visit the City Wall - the best preserved, oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China.The wall has a history of over 600 years. Visit Drum Tower, and have a stroll on the square. (B,L)




Day 15. Xian - Shanghai
Statues at the start of the Silk Road, Xi’an – Shanghai
Pick you up from the hotel. Drive to visit theStatues at the start of the Silk Road before connecting the flight to Shanghai.

Visit Yu Garden -one of the best Suzhou-style gardens in southern China, and Yu Market. VisitJadeBuddhaTemple - famous Buddhist temple in downtown. Then we will visit Nanjing Road and Oriental Pearl TV Tower -the world’s third tallest TV and radio tower, which combines ancient concepts with 21st Century technology. Visit the Bund -famous waterfront with art-like buildings in China, the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years.
