Description
Astor Hotel Tianjin was regarded as a major national historical
relic
preservation project. It is a luxury one with British classic architectural
style. Since its grand opening in 1863, this grand dame of Chinese Hotels
has played host to Dr Sun Yat Sen, President Herbert Hoover. It is in
a good location on the river for a walk around the various areas, and
even in walking distance of the shopping areas around Binjiang dao.
The hotel has undergone more than a hundred years of changes and has
been marked with the footprints of historic development in Tianjin.
The facilities and decorations of this old Hotel show us the traces
