Shanghai Classic One Day City Join in Bus Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Shanghai join in tour of Jade Buddha Temple, People's Square, Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden and Shanghai Old Town  
• 
  We will pick you up from your hotel in downtown around 8:00 to 9:00am. Your tour guide will inform you the exact time on the night before the tour date.
  Drive to Jade Buddha Temple. Built in the Qing Dynasty(1644-1912), Jade Buddha Temple is famous for magnificent architectures and jade statues from Burma.
  Then go to People's Square. The square is the place of new Municipal Government Mansion lies in, as well the city's important transportation hubs. It is an important Shanghai landmark.
  Visit Shanghai Museum or Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center. The museum is famous for its large collection of remarkable ancient artworks. It houses over 120,000 cultural relics including bronze wares, ceramics, jade, sculptures, paintings and calligraphy works.
  Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center introduces the urban planning and development of the city through various high-tech means. A large scale model of the whole city on the sixth floor shows existing and approved future buildings of Shanghai.
  Proceed to the silk factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14th century.
  
  
• After lunch, we will visit Yu Garden. This Chinese classic garden has a history of over 400 years. It was once a private garden and features pavilions, halls, chambers, towers, ponds and rockeries.
  Go on to Shanghai Old Town. historic buildings and unique customs can be found in there.
  Afterwards, go to taste Chinese Tea or visit Fresh Water Pearl Gallery.
  If time permits, continue to Xintiandi. It was once a former neighborhood of old Shanghai with the Shikumen buildings of the 1930s. Now it is a fashionable area with upscale restaurants, clubs, bars and shops.
  We will drop you at the Xintiandi or the Bund after the tour.
