Drive to Suzhou to visit Humble Administrator's Garden . Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest ancient garden in Suzhou. It is a representative of gardens in southern China. Built in the Ming Dynasty, it is a treasure house containing arts of architecture, calligraphy, carving, painting, and bonsai. About six percent of its total area is water, paths and bridges composes a net of road and lead you to those pavilions in the garden.
After lunch, drive to the water town Zhouzhuang including ancient town and old waterways. Zhouzhuang lies at the middle between Shanghai and Suzhou, So it is thought by many to be the best waterside town in China. This ancient town has a history of more than 900 years old with many houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are about 100 houses with courtyards, and 60 of them have arch gateways made by carved bricks.
Be transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai after the tour.
