Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Shanghai City one day bus tour.
Shanghai MuseumBe met by English speaking tour guide and driver from hotel at 08:00am.

Drive to visit Xintiandi Area. Shanghai Xintiandi, "The City's Living-Room", is where "yesterday meets tomorrow in Shanghai today." The mail building here is Shikumen buildings which is the architectural symbol of Shanghai in the 20th century. The internal spaces of the building have been designed to suit the up tempo lifestyle of the 21st century, with infinite details that exude the casual elegance of modern city living.

Then visit former French concession. With European architectural style building and open courtryard, the area shows the picture of the Old Shanghai.

Have lunch in local restaurant.

Visit Shanghai Museum.
Shanghai Museum, known as the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art, was established in 1952. You will find more than 120,000 precious and rare works of art in 21 categories. In addition to the 11 galleries, the museum includes three exhibition halls, a tearoom, a restaurant, shops, a high-definition graphics hall, a library and a VIP garden.

Then visit People's Square. Renmin Square is a large public square adjacent to Nanjing Road in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, where the the place of new Municipal Government Mansion lies in. A blue and white dovecot can be seen in the southwest side of the square. Renmin Square is also the city's important transportation hubs.

the Bund photoMove on to visit Pudong New Area. Bounded by the Huangpu River in the west and the East China Sea in the east, Pudong New Area arose from China's policy of 'Opening Up' and economic development.
Covering an area of 570,000m², Pudong New District is now considered a modern new urban district and Shanghai's modernization and prestige as center of world commerce.

Then visit the Bund. The Bund, also called Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. The most famous and attractive sights are the 52 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance, which are also located at the west side of the Bund. The Bund was the centre of Shanghai's politics, economy and culture hundreds of years ago, consulates of most countries. Many banks, businesses and newspaper offices were settled there, and that's why we have these art-like buildings.

Be transferred back to your hotel after a Souvenir Shop visit. Remainder of the day is at leisure. ( , Lunch , )

 

Day 2. Hangzhou one day bus tour from Shanghai.

Drive to Hangzhou to visit West Lake. Lying on the west side of Hangzhou city, the West Lake is well known for its elegant appearance and natural beauty. West Lake is surrounded on three sides by rolling wooded hills. The natural setting of strangely shaped peaks, serene forests and springs, dense foliage and a myriad of blossoms especially in spring time are enhanced by a treasury of sculpture and architectural features. There are more than 40 places of scenic and historical interest scattered around West Lake, such as Lingyin Temple, Feilai Peak and others.

Then visit Huagang Park. Located at the southern end of the Su Causeway, Huagang Park has four sections: the Peony Yard, the Red Fish Pool, the Thick Forest Zone and the New Flower Harbor. The park is a recreation resort for viewing goldfishes. The Red Fish Pool is full of flowers and plants and thousands of fish are playing in the water.

Visit Ling Yin Temple. Lingyin Temple is one of the most significant and beautiful Buddhist monasteries in China. The temple contains an important collection of Buddhist literature together with many other treasures. There is a laughing Buddha at the Flying Peak in it, and it has be a sign of the temple.

Move on to visit Dragon well Tea Plantation.
