China Agricultural University Gymnasium

The China Agricultural University Gymnasium is located in the east campus of China Agricultural University. It is the first completed venue that is located in a school campus. Occupying 23,950 square meters, the China Agricultural University Gymnasium offers seating capacity for 8,500 with 6,000 permanent seats and 2500 temporary seats. It is used for the wrestling event during the Olympic Games and the volleyball seating competition during the Beijing Paralympics Games. After the 2008 Games, the venue will serve as a multi-functional facility accessible to university students and staff, as well as the residents in the neighborhood.
The Groundbreaking date of the China Agricultural University Gymnasium is September 15, 2005 and the completion date is August 18, 2007.
