Huanghuacheng Great Wall One Day Tour to Huanghuacheng Great Wall and Mutianyu Great Wall

Itinerary

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am. Drive one and half hours to the famous Huanghuacheng Great Wall to start Huanghuacheng Great Wall 1 day trip.
The Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers.

Built in 1575, Huanghuacheng Great Wall is located at the Xishuiyu Pass, which was demolished to give way to the dam of the Xishuiyu Reservoir. Some ancient walls were submerged at several places. This made the unique landscape with three sections of the walls going in and out of the water in different ways. With a length of 10,800 meters, Huanghuacheng Great Wall is a resort with mountains, lakes and the ancient Great Wall.

Then visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu was first built in the mid-6th century. It is the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 22 original style watchtowers. Mutianyu Great Wall features picturesque landscape with 90% forest coverage rate. The scenery in spring and autumn is excellent. Mutianyu Great Wall is not so crowded as Badaling section. Take sightseeing on the wall for about 6 hours. Cable car is optional to get the top to have a bird view.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
