Itinerary

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.

Drive to visit Beijing Folk-Custom Museum. Beijing Folk-Custom Museum is situated Dongyue Temple, one of the most well-known Daoist temples built in Yuan Dynasty with a history of more than 600 years. The museum has put on a series of exbitions themed on folk custom of old Beijing. Every year, the Temple Fair for the Spring Festival is held here, showing many folk custom performances.

Then visit White Cloud Temple. First built in 739 during the Tang Dynasty, White Cloud Temple is one of the three "ancestral courts" of the Quanzhen School of Taoism. It is the largest Daoist architectural complex in Beijing. The temple houses many valued cultural relics, including Ming Zhengtong Daozang, Stone Statue of Lao Zi of Tang Dynasty, Stone Carving of Yuan Dyansty.

Move on to visit China Numismatic Museum. China Numismatic Museum mainly exhibits the development of Chinese coins. Exhibitions in China Numismatic Museum consist of Chinese currency exhibits, exhibitions of casting technology in ancient China, show of the history of the People's Bank of China and etc. The museum is located in the mall of People's Bank of China. The building of the numismatic museum itself is a cultural heritage.

Then visit an art museum. It is the first private museum of folk carvings in China. There are about 3000 collections includes wood carvings, stone carvings, and brick carvings. Some of them can be dated back to the Spring and Autumn Period(770 B.C-476 B.C) and Qing Dynasty( 221 B.C - 206 B.C).

Visit Jingshan Park. Jingshan is an artificial hill made from the soil which was excavated for the moats of the Forbidden City. Jingshan consists of five individual peaks, and on the top of each peak there lies an elaborate pavilion. Once as an imperial garden, the Jingshan park was situated right on the north of the Forbidden City.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
