Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Drive to visit Capital Museum. The construction style of the Capital Museum is an integration between classical culture and modern features. The Museum contains three independent constructions, including the rectangular exhibition hall, the circular exhibition hall and the quadrate office and scientific research building. The exhibition items are divided into three categories: permanent exhibitions, exhibitions of fine artistic collections and temporary exhibitions.
Then go to Chengxian Street, an old street of Beijing. Visit Confucius Temple and Imperial College located in this street. Confucius Temple is the second largest one in China. Built in 1302, the temple was a venue where people pay respects to Confucius, the greatest thinker and educationist in ancient China.
Imperial College is also called "Guozijian", which was the the highest learning institute during Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Emperors in imperial China used to frequent the place to read Confucian classics to thousands of students.
After lunch, visit Beihai Park. Beihai Park was first dug out in the 12th century, with the excavated earth used to form a central island. It is the oldest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. The park covers an area of 69 hectares including a 39-hectare lake. In the park, lakes and hills wind along pavilions and towers, trees and flowers. Spend around one hour in the park.
Move on visit Houhai area. It is a part of Shichahai Lake. The bar street in this area is famous in Beijing.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
