Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30.
Drive to visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Then ascend the Tiananmen Rostrum. Tian'anmen Rostrum is situated in the north of Tian'anmen square, facing Chang'an street. With its outstanding architectural art and special political statue, it is the place that Chairman Mao claim the founding of The People's Republic of China.
Visit Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. Located in Tian'anmen square, the Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall is composed of North Hall, Memorial Hall and South Hall. Inside of the memorial hall placed the coffin of Chairman Mao Zedong, the founder of the People's Republic of China.
Move on to visit Ancestral Temple. Located on the east side of Tian'anmen Square, Ancestral Temple was the temple where mperors offered sacrifices to their ancestors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Covering an area of 139,650 square meters, it was built in the Ming dynasty in year 1420 and is one of the most well preserved intact Ming architecture building groups.
Then visit National Museum. The National Museum of China consists of two separate museums: the Museum of the Chinese Revolution in the northern wing and the National Museum of Chinese History in the southern wing. The National Museum of China houses over 620,385 cultural items in its permanent art collection. The museum also possess many Chinese historical artifacts that would not be found in other museums such as the heaviest ancient bronze- Simuwu Ding.
Go on to visit Ancient Observatory. As one of the oldest observatories in the world, the Beijing Ancient Observatory covers an area of 10,000 square meters. Tools in the observatory were built in 1442 of the Ming Dynasty.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
