|Tiananmen Square, National theatre, Olympic Park, Beijing Zoo, Beijing Hutong

Dive to visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, it is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Then we will visit National theatre. The National Theatre, also called the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), is located in the west of Tian'anmen square. The exterior of the theater is a titanium accented glass dome, which is surrounded by a man-made lake, just like an egg floating on water. The National Theatre is an important culture facility to hold various performances and exhibitions.
And Then we visit Olympic Park. Olympic Park, the largest city park in China, was constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics. During the Olympics, it hosted the competitions of some 15 Olympic events successfully.
The National Stadium, also called Bird Nest, once held the opening and closing ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics, Olympic events successfully.
The Beijing National Aquatics Center, famous as "Water Cube", is situated beside the National Stadium.
As an aquatics center, it once succeeded in hosting the swimming, diving and synchronized swimming events.
Have lunch in nice local restaurant.
Dive to visit Beijing Zoo. Beijing Zoo was built in 1955 on the foundation of Wansheng Garden of the Qing Dynasty. It is now the biggest zoo in China with the largest number of animal species. The highlight of Beijing Zoo is the national treasure-giant panda.
Move on to visit Beijing Hutongs. Beijing Hutong are lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard). Most of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Many famous operas and dramas are based on the themes of hutong life.
Transfer back to hotel after the whole day tour.
